Our Weekend

Wow, another busy weekend at Stamp Your Heart Out...demos and classes for everyone, new techniques to learn and new products to see...here is a re-cap for you...

On Saturday Ginny showed us the newest stencils from Creative Imaginations...large and small stencils used with the shimmery Radiant Rain paints as well as chalks, inks and twinkling H2os... to make beautiful background papers, cards and of course our favorites...tags!

Such pretty colors of Radiant Rain...

Great selection of stencils...flowers, birds, swirls, even a mermaid!

Using stencils on patterned papers give extra depth to the designs...

So pretty...Thanks Ginny!

On Sunday Barb taught her very popular 'Men's Cards' Class. I snuck in the classroom and took some pictures to share with you...

(Barb is very happy that Hines Ward won 'Dancing with the Stars'. If you don't know who he is, make sure to ask next time you see her!)

The two Pats...

I think the camera is being ignored...

Or maybe not!

Great samples, ample supplies and beautiful cards...no wonder Barb's classes are so much fun...

Pat loves her creation...

Here's what everyone made today...

Thanks Barb...what a great class!

I'll be back in a few days with photos and a description of my demo featuring Memory Box stamps and new dies!

Thanks for stopping by...

Chips!

It wouldn't surprise me at all if you have a few of these laying around...In your junk drawer or garage or in that decorating inspiration folder we all have!

I found a few the other day while going through my own junk drawer. A little investigating came up with these fun and simple ways to repurpose those little pretties...

Stamp with Staz-On ink...use corner rounders and add ribbon to make bookmarks, tags, and mini cards or books...

Use a flower punch and add some bling...

Garlands are always cute...and easy to make!

And my favorite...sewing on the paint chip! How clever is that?

Here's a few I made with stamps, punches and bling...

I also gave the sewing a try, using the We R Memory Keepers Sew Easy tools...It really is easy!

Why don't you make a few? Bring them into the store and show them off...We'd love to see what you created and re-purposed!

It's Raining Men!

Well, Men's Cards that is...we wanted some ideas on how to create cards for those special fellows in our life...Barb pulled out all the stops on this demo and shared some terrific ideas....

She featured the fabulous 'Campy Trails' collection from American Crafts with a bit of 'City Park' thrown in too...

Torn paper makes a beautiful seascape...you must come into the store and take a closer look at the finished card....

Fun stamps from Inkadinkadoo...

Layering stickers and papers...add a stamped image or two...a die cut edge, ribbon and even a bit of glitter...

Thanks Barb, these are really wonderful!
