So Happy To See All Of You

We had a packed store this weekend...thanks to all of you who came in to say hello and check out the demos and fabulous new product for you...On Saturday, Lynell Harlow, owner/designer of Dreamweaver Stencils spent the afternoon with us...Lynell brought hundreds of her beautiful brass stencils and all the fixins' needed to create some of the most stunning cards we've ever seen...several kinds of embossing pastess alcohol inks, metallic powders, aluminum metal sheets and more!


Lynell answered all your questions...we learned so much...


Showing us how to run a stencil through a die cutting machine...


Using a glue pad to adhere the stippled on ink...


Coloring with alcohol inks...


Burnishing, sanding and coloring aluminum sheets...




What a beautiful stencil...come into the store and see what Lynell did with this one!

Sunday was the reveal of the newest dies from everyone's absolute favorite company...
Memory Box and Poppy Stamps...we were one of the first stores to get this newest release and thanks to all of you for your enthusiastic response...



This release features Hawaiian themed dies...turtles, palm tree, ocean border, lei, and of course more beautiful butterflies, birds, florals, borders, and much more...these lovely gals picked out their favorites quickly as it doesn't take long for dies from Memory Box to sell out!

New Lifestyle Crafts

We've all been waiting for this release of dies from Lifestyle Crafts/Quickutz...We were lucky to see a sneak peak at them back in January when Theron and crew from Lifestyle Crafts stopped by the store for a visit while in the Los Angeles area for the CHA 2012 Winter Show...

Great nesting dies...we just love this new pinking edge...


The most adorable bags and containers...

The hands-down favorite is the berry basket...soooo cute!

These border dies are actually 12" long...(sorry the pictures makes them appear much smaller than they actually are) These borders look beautiful on a scrapbook pages or cut them to add accents to cards and containers...
The envelope set has the most delicate eyelet border...



Let's take a look at what Ginny created...using the gorgeous 'Carefree' paper line from 'Authentique'...we just love the rich feel and texture this paper has, and it die cuts beautifully...



The little tags with the bag die are the perfect size for the tiny 'Cats Life Press' stamps we just can't get enough of...

Last Sunday afternoon we spent a few hours with Nancy and one of her favorite girl's...Mimi from Penny Black...we had a very interested group who came early to grab a seat and watch Nancy create really terrific cards with these adorable stamps...







I love the punched border on the wedding card...what a perfect finish to this sweet card...




The hot air balloon is cut from glitter paper...adds the perfect amount 'pop' to the card...


Nancy's coloring technique and amazing attention to detail are evident in all these lovely cards...come on in and take a closer look!



Saturday was the monthly ATC demo and trade...Ginny expertly filled in for Michele who was enjoying a trip to London and Paris with hubby Greg...

Ginny featured our very favorite 'French General' line of papers and embellishments to create these fabulous trading cards...



After the demo the trading begins...we are famous for our lively and fun trades...










The next ATC demo and trade will be Saturday, June 16th...hope to see you there!
