Happy Hoppers!

It has been so much fun to see all you shop hoppers come visit our store... you came from near and far and certainly seem to be enjoying yourselves...Our first group of 'hoppers' appropriately named themselves the Tacky Tourists....hmmm...wonder why. Say hello to Claudia, Kathy, and Sandy...such a fun group of gals!


Lots of new books, magazines, and paper collections to look over...





Donna dazzled us again with a Spellbinder die and Just Rite Stamp demo...these two products pair up perfectly to make beautiful cards...






We 'hopped' around a bit ourselves too...we didn't want to miss out on the fun...

Shop Hop!

It's finally here...the first day of Shop Hop...we are so excited that after months of planning, all can be revealed...our amazing make n take pages, our fun photo opportunity, tasty treats and of course our fabulous store all decked out in a San Fransisco theme...we've got lots of new merchandise on display as well as our unique Stamp Your Heart Out kits you won't find anywhere else...we've got them tucked away in every corner and cubby of the store.

New this week are more of your favorite crafting magazines, new Halloween papers by Canvas Corp (Ginny loves these kraft papers), new Halloween stamps by Inkadinkadoo, Cosmo Cricket's 'Odds and Ends' line, and my new favorite, dimensional flower punches by EKSuccess...




These punches are super easy to use, simply punch out two 12" strips of the flower, layer and roll! Simply amazing...we have all 4 styles ...come in and take a closer look at them.

Aloha!

We had a blast at our Tropical Splash Party on Saturday...Ginny started the afternoon with an amazing demo featuring the latest Lifestyle Crafts release...we decked out the store in Hawaiian theme, lisened to Aloha music, and snacked on delicious fresh pineapple and macadamia nut cookies, and sipped Hawaiian punch...we loved that some of you showed up in your snazzy island attire...





Ginny shows us how to layer, ink and add just the right touch of ribbons, clips, and tags for the perfect project...




A fun photo opportunity...our very own palm tree...




A special treat at this demo was a cute free make 'n take featuring the flamingo and umbrella drinking straw ornament. You all seemed to love this one!...Wouldn't this make an adorable party decoration or hostess gift?...






And of course the highlight of the demo was the reveal of the July Club Die Kit...all we can say is WOW!


This fabulous kit includes the exclusive tropical flower tag...Ginny paired it with the lantern and the tropical leaves tag to make this adorable aloha lantern...can't you just see this with a mini tealight in it...

Ginny advises bending the flower petals to add just the perfect amount of dimension...

Rescue Me!

Another staff and customer favorite is this gem of a book...

Have you ever sat down to write a quick note in a card and discover you can't think of a single thing to say...This book will rescue you...152 pages stuffed with more than 1000 thoughtful, , encouraging and at times humorous words to pen on a card, note, scrapbook page or even in an email...One younger customer who purchased it remarked that the words were not 'grandma-ey or cheesy'!... We've sold dozens of this book and we are so pleased that this arrived in the store this week...

Mimi the Mermaid

Isn't she just adorable...Mimi the Mermaid...such a sweet stamp from Penny Black...



And she was joined by her equally cute friends on Sunday for Nancy's demo...it looks like these happy gals are enjoying a beautiful summer day...





These stamps are perfect for friendship cards, thinking of you, thank-you's and birthday cards...so whimsical and fresh...



The coloring on these cards is amazing...so beautiful...


Paper from 'My Little Shoebox' is a perfect match...


Nancy's demos are technique packed and she always provides tips on folding, cutting and construction of dimensional projects...



Such an adorable 'purse' card with a charm clasp...
