Cards and More!

Nancy treated us to another over the top demo featuring some lovely new stamps from Penny Black...beautiful flower images that are perfect for creating spring themed cards...



So many great idea design ideas...cutting, layering, and coloring...


Wouldn't Mom love to receive a card made from one of these...





And Nancy's demos are never complete without adding one of her signature folded projects...this time it is the sweetest little box to hold a collection of mini cards...What a perfect gift!

Glitter Gals

We sparkled and glittered away last Saturday in Elizabeth Crafts Glitter and Shimmer Sheets classes...taught by the one and only Els...this fabulously creative lady showed us all the ins and outs and tips and tricks using her signature ultra fine glitter and peel off stickers, with stencil and die cut masks, and copic markers...

Els starts us out with some basic instructions...







And off we go...coloring and cutting and layering...

To create these beautiful cards...

In the afternoon we learned all about Shimmer Sheets..

This is Els' 'treasure box'... pieces of Shimmer Sheets that have been colored with alcohol inks, run through an embossing folder, then cut up into small squares and rectangles to create stunning 'patchwork' peices...

We all created a piece of 'patchwork' to share...



Donna helps out with layout ideas...




Look at the stunning results! And so easy...

French General Soiree

Sunday's Soiree was simply 'magnifique'....Thanks to all attendees...you wonderful ladies made this day so much fun...



We are all set up and ready to go...




Joan gives a warm welcome while everyone settles in...



We saw old friends....




and meet new ones...






Kaari was kind enough to share a few words with us...


We spent the afternoon hours happily crafting...creating lovely art projects...a banner, button ring, altered book, tussie mussie cone and inspiration book...













Everyone loved the tres jolie products from French General... papers, fabric, buttons, notions, lace trim and more...





Kaari, her sweet mom Kick and beautiful daughter Sofia work on the projects...


Everyone received a gift from Kaari and a door prize donated by EKSuccess Brands...
