 Didn't we have a grand time on Saturday playing with the beautiful paper blooms, vintage dazzlers embellishments and beaded hat pins from Petaloo...

The Vintage Dazzlers make a lovely focal point for a card or tag....these layered and glittered designs match up perfectly with the rich colors of Petaloo Flowers... add a bit of ribbon...and a lacy border, die cut flourish or doily die to complete a shabby style card...so easy and so pretty!

Sweet and vintage style stamps from Great Impressions, Impression Obsession and Savvy teamed up perfectly with the Petaloo style...

Our 'Hearty' Demos

For those who haven't been in the store lately, or for those who live too far to visit us, here is a little recap of what we have been up too...needless to say that we love pinks and reds and sweet hearts and the sentiments of this lovely time of year...beautiful stamps, papers, ribbons and die cutting tools gave us lots to work with...

Have we mentioned how much we love the new Evolution Tool...Ginny shows how easy and cleanly it cuts even the most detailed dies...

A couple of weekends ago Stacey outdid herself and filled a table of beautiful cards using Pine Cone Press and Authentique Papers...

Hello Sunshine!

So nice to see you again...the warm sun and bright skies must have brought out the creative spirit in us all...we had a packed house this past Saturday for Michele's ATC demo and trade...
For this month Michele featured some lovely floral papers and embellishments from Kaiser Craft, perfectly suited for ATC making...

And these fun and whimsical stamps from Rubber Moon...so hard to resist these sweet stamps...

You need to come into the store and see how beautifully colored these are...Michele is pure genius with her Copic markers...

Lots of ideas to be shared...

 Trading begins with lots of enthusiasm..

 

 Sweet snacks are plentiful for a bit of refueling...and a special thanks to our lovely friend Maria for bringing homemade sopopillas and Mexican hot chocolate for all...delicious..

A couple of months ago an extra trade was offered to all who wanted to participate, one with a specific theme...our first ever themed swap...the Alphabet Trade...we all signed up for a specific letter and agreed to make 27 ATC's featuring that letter... they were turned in last month, compiled into a book and viola! Everyone was excited to get their Alphabet Book....come into the store to see what a fabulous job our creative participants did...

I hope we do more of these special swaps...a huge thanks to Michele, Mark and Jody for pulling it all together...
